The techniques of lace making and crocheting come into play at Cheryl Pelavin Fine Arts in Nancy Friedemann's solo exhibition, showcasing her lace and word based drawings done on layers of Mylar. Some of Friedemann's large-sized drawings lie on translucent sheets of Mylar that are a few layers thick so that designs beneath and above the surface interact with one another.
